Biscayne Bay Brewing Company
Biscatne Bay Brewing Company was born to provide the thriving community that surrounds Biscayne Bay with a great bright beer to match the words used by Ponce de Leon to describe it as “a bright, nameless great bay” upon its discovery 500 years ago. Chequescha, as it was called then by the Tequesta Indians, was a natural estuary with “fresh springs in the rocks” according to Don Ponce in 1513. Then, like today, it is the lifeblood of a community that depends on its nourishment to survive. We will live up to this legacy by making a product that nourishes and brings great joy, while honoring the earliest settlers and pioneers who built the foundation of the thriving city we stand in today.
