WaZoo University, or WaZoo U! The Zoo welcomes beer enthusiasts to a “beer school” event before WaZoo, the Zoo’s annual beer fest fundraiser. Guests will be invited to relax in the cool comfort of the Zoo’s Safari Lodge where they will join local brewmasters Joey Redner of Cigar City Brewing in Tampa, Bob Sylvester of Saint Somewhere Brewing Company in Tarpon Springs, and our very own Jeremy Joerger of JDub’s Brewing Company in Sarasota. Learn about the art of brewing and evolution of beer while toasting these tasty local brews. Plus, WaZoo U guests will have the opportunity that evening to purchase discounted tickets to WaZoo Beer Fest on August 2. Tickets are $100 and are on sale at www.LowryParkZoo.org/WaZoo.
